Dialoghi
Wood, silver and painted works
2015-2016
From writing to embroidery
In “Dialoghi”, the text is visually structured, creating three-dimensional surfaces that recall cracks, plots, and spider webs. The project draws inspiration from ancient calligrams, translating writing into geometric forms, spirals, sine waves and into patterns that echo textile art and embroidery. Shadow assumes narrative value equal to presence, underscoring the communicative power of the invisible.

Duality as complementarity
The discourse centres on the theme of duality. This is not opposition but complementarity: one spiral flows into the other, the ovals of the diptych answer one another, taking on opposite yet interdependent qualities. Image and writing enter into dialogue, foreshadowing the project “Ricamando il Caos”, where language becomes light.
